Picking up loose threads

Wed Feb 23, 2005, 8:38 AM
I guess it's kinda obvious, but I left deviantart a long time ago. It's become to big for me, I guess. Been leaving a lot of places behind lately, but I haven't properly said goodbye yet. So here goes:

GOODBYE EVERYBODY!

If anybody wants to reach me, my livejournal is still updated from time to time:

Since .tk domains are a bit like drawing a picture in sand, here's the direct adress as well:
[link]

It's mainly in norwegian, but there's a bilingual entry every once in a while.

If anybody wants to check out the school I attend now, it's online at [link] Anyone who frequents this place should consider applying at their photography line. Norway is a beautiful place peeps, and has one of the finest educational systems in the world! ;)

If there is one thing I love, it's personal emails, so if anybody wants to reach me directly, try aflo at online dot no.

And if there is one thing I love more, it's actual mail. Cards, letters, fast cash, anything you can fit in a manilla envelope, just send it to:

New Camera

Mon Jul 5, 2004, 7:10 AM
I'm buying a new SLR, because the two I have right now are a bit crummy: one is out of battery which, makes the mirror jam, (and I can't open the battery lid) and the other doesn't show the lightmeter, which makes it sort of a guessing match what aperature it chooses. In addition, there's a motherload of dust in the first one.

The new camera is an used Pentax Super-A, (sometimes called Super-program) and it comes with a winder, a teleconverter, a 50 mm, a 28 mm, and a 70-210 zoom. I'm fairly excited, but I don't know when it will arrive, as we haven't agreed on shipping yet.

Here's the manual, if you want to take a peek:

And here's the specs:

Mp3

Mon May 24, 2004, 10:45 AM
I love MP3s. I love putting on all my music in one playlist, and letting Winamp choose what I'm going to listen too.

I just formatted my harddrive, so now I have 1071 musicfiles on my computer. I used to have 3-4 times more. How many do you have? And what's your favorite mp3player?

These are a few of my favorite things.

Hi! I decided to end my sabbatical from deviantArt with a little sketch. I have processed some BW photos too, but I haven't made any paper copies yet. Hopefully more will be forthcoming...

In the meantime, it's good to be back.
