I didn't quite know what to name this one, so I decided to name it after the movie Far from Heaven, with Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid. I've never seen the movie, but I think it channels that 50's flair quite well...
This was just a spur of the moment thing, we found this cool metal stair connecting to an old brick house. And since I needed to use up 12 pictures before I could develop my film, I shot away. Sadly, a lot of them was a bit overexposed, it's hard to know when you're lightmeter is faulty... I've finally changed from that old OM2 to the at least partially functionable OM10 now, however.
This is Klara, a dear friend of mine. I want to thank her for letting me take and post this picture. She's amazing, an well worth a photoshoot...
Olympus OM2
Kodak E100VS, crossprocessed E6- C41 for that yummi color and saturation.
You always find some of the coolest places to get photos at. I'm going to agree with the person above me that I like the many colous in the brick. It seems like there's an abundance of reds and blues in the picture, but that works really well.
So....once again, I bow to your photography skillz.
Composition is also very nice, overall, good job. Only thing I'd change is the thickness of the black line around the photo, it's a bit thick for my taste, and the font could be a little thinner to, and a bit farther up.
